Dear Apple, my grandmother could have programmed better software than this...

Let's dive right into my favorite "feature" of all... the ability of the phone to download the first part of an e-mail, but not show it to you.

As you can see, when I open the e-mail, NOTHING is displayed in the body...

...yet you'll notice that in the message list screen, it displays the first line of the body.

Alas, I can have it show up to 5 lines of the body in the message list screen (who knows if 5 lines have been downloaded or 50!)

But I don't want to have to constantly switch from 1 line to 5 lines just to see part of the message! Ugh!

How about the message actually show me as much as has been downloaded!!! CRAZY I KNOW!

And here we have another instance of this great "feature"...

These are epic... I'm supposed to ask the sender to re-send the message in a different format? Even though the problem is clearly with the iPhone? (Switching to 3G showed the message just fine).

And as a bonus, note in picture 2, it claims that there was 2 GB more to be downloaded. I bet. The attachment was no more than 2 MB, not 2 GB. Sweet.

And just for kicks, here are screen shots of...

    (a) the ever-trusty stopwatch, which occasionally ticks slow, fast, jumps to random numbers, and even goes negative. Brilliant.

    (b) Great UI painting. Really sound product, Apple...
